Dan Robinson, President
Dan is Co-Founder and President of Advanced Voluntary Concepts. Dan
has over 19 years experience in both Core & Voluntary Benefit design,
sales & communication. His first 8 years were spent as a leading Medical
Broker Representative for companies like Allmerica Financial, Cigna and
NY Life. For the last 11 years, Dan has been a leader, innovator and top
producer in the worksite marketing industry. Dan specializes in
customizing and implementing cost effective core and voluntary
enrollment solutions for clients of all sizes.
Prior to forming AVC, Dan spent three years with Fage Benefit Solutions. Fage was created to provide turnkey voluntary benefit consulting and enrollment solutions to the brokerage community. The Company primarily focused on providing customized voluntary benefit platforms for small and mid-sized companies located in the tri-state area. This business model was successfully delivered to an under served market, and produced millions of dollars of voluntary premium. Prior to his career at Fage, Dan worked as a Regional Sales Director for Allstate Workplace Division and was responsible for opening their first NY brokerage division in 2002. Dan became one of the top worksite producers in the country during his three year tenure. Prior to Allstate Dan was a Regional Vice President for Legal Club of America. Dan was responsible for the Northeast territory and was the company's leading producer three consecutive years.
Dan is a Workplace Benefits Association Advisory Board Member, has been a Featured Speaker at the Benefits Expo (April 2005), appeared on the front cover and was the cover story in Benefits Selling Magazine (May 2008). Dan was most recently a Speaker at the Workplace Benefits Renaissance (March 2009).
Dennis Petine, VP of Voluntary Benefit Implementation
In January of 2009, Dennis Petine became the company's Vice President
of Voluntary Benefit Implementation. Dennis has over 30 years of experience
in the Life Insurance and Banking industries. Shortly after graduating
from Bowling Green State University, Dennis became an Agent with the
Equitable Life Assurance Society. Upon joining the company, Dennis became
the company's top producing Agent for three consecutive years and remained
one of the company's top producers during his tenure there. Dennis has
also been a Sales Manager for New York Life, VP of Sales for CNA Insurance
Companies and a leading Sales Manager for the Allstate Workplace Division
in New York.
In addition to his knowledge of voluntary products and sales, Dennis has extensive experience in case implementation, enroller training and client/broker relations.
Dennis resides in New Jersey with his wife Maria and is an avid golfer and NY Giants Football fan.
Peter Toth, Regional Sales Director Northeast
Division
Peter Toth has been a distinguished professional in the Employee benefits
industry since 1989. He has been a leader in various sales roles working
with brokers and consultants in order to help them expand their business
and increase product offerings for their clients.
Prior to joining Advanced Voluntary Concepts, Peter has worked in leading sales roles at several top insurance companies. He facilitated new business sales in the large group market with both medical and non-medical products sold via brokers and consultants. He was also instrumental in the formation of company established to provide voluntary benefits to enhance existing benefit programs. Peter spearheaded new marketing programs for voluntary worksite products and assisted brokers in growing their business. Responsibilities included designing and implementing voluntary benefit programs for employers between 50 and 10,000 lives.
Peter also has a strong firsthand knowledge of Healthcare cost containment. He has most recently served as a consultant to HR Best Practices, one of America's leading healthcare eligibility technology and auditing specialists.
He brings a strong knowledge of group and worksite products as well as a proven track record of partnering with brokers looking for additional products and services to offer their clients. Peter has joined the team at Advanced Voluntary Concepts to expand AVC's reach in the Northeast and increase partnerships with the benefits brokerage community.
Peter is a graduate of Rutgers University where he received a Bachelor
of Science degree in Economics.
